DeLuca’s opened on 25 February 2026 at 2 Concert Square, launching as a major multi-level competitive socialising venue with a total capacity of around 700 guests. Combining pub games, live sports broadcasting, a heated viewing terrace, and a late-night basement club, the venue provides a multi-experience entertainment hub in the centre of Liverpool’s nightlife quarter.

What DeLuca’s does

The venue caters to modern group socialising where visitors want active entertainment alongside drinks. The layout is divided into distinct zones across three storeys: the ground-floor Game Lounge and main bar, an elevated outdoor heated terrace overlooking the square, and One Below, a basement club with high-energy DJ programming. By day and early evening, it operates as a sports and gaming bar popular with student groups and corporate socials, transitioning into an energetic late-night DJ bar after dark.

The Game Lounge: Darts, pool and shuffleboard

The main floor is equipped with competitive social games designed for groups:

  • Interactive Darts: Augmented reality dartboards equipped with overhead cameras and automated digital touchscreens that track scoring, running competitive games such as Killer, Shanghai, and high-score shootouts without manual math.
  • English Pool Tables: Regulation slate-bed pool tables maintained with tournament-grade baize cloth.
  • Shuffleboard: Smooth-waxed timber shuffleboard lanes equipped with precision pucks for team tournaments.

Gaming lanes can be booked in 60 or 90-minute blocks via the website, with walk-in sessions available when lanes are free.

Sports coverage, terrace and the kitchen

Live sport is a cornerstone of the venue. More than twenty 4K high-definition television screens are positioned around the bar, configured with multiple satellite feeds to broadcast simultaneous sporting fixtures, including Premier League football, European cup ties, Formula 1, boxing, and NFL.

The bar serves a casual American-style sports menu:

  • Smash Burgers and Fries: Hand-pressed beef or crispy buttermilk chicken burgers served in toasted brioche buns with seasoned skin-on fries.
  • Sharing Plates: Hot buffalo and barbecue chicken wings, crispy mozzarella sticks, and loaded corn tortilla nachos piled with melted cheese, jalapeños, salsa, and sour cream.
  • Drinks and Steins: Draught lagers, craft IPAs, bottled beers, cocktail steins, and party shot paddles.

Above the main floor, the heated and covered first-floor terrace gives customers a grandstand view over the street life of Concert Square below.
